# Fortalan > Fortalan is a small studio in Zagreb, Croatia, that builds chatbots for websites and webshops, custom AI automations and voice agents, in English and Croatian. Every demo on this site is recorded on fictional data (sample data); none of it is a live system. Fortalan builds three things, each with its own page, a diagram of how it works and case studies: - Chatbots (/chatbots/): an assistant that knows its way around a store's catalogue and makes the website live and easier to navigate. It finds products from a plain description, sets the site's own filters and parameters, answers from the catalogue, pages and policies, asks one question when the answer changes what fits, and hands over to the team with the whole conversation (contact form, helpdesk, email or live chat). Case 1A: a used-car dealer, where a shopper docks the assistant as a side panel and describes the car in plain words, the assistant sets the filters and picks three cars with a reason each, opens the page of the car the shopper picks and sends the test-drive request to sales, and it opens the Warranty page at the sentence that answers a warranty question. - Custom AI automations (/automations/): agents built around a team's own work. Something comes in through the team's own tools; the agent reads its sources (tickets, the knowledge base, the app, the manuals); where the client allows it, it finishes the task itself, and everywhere else it hands the task to a person with what it found. Every step is logged with its sources; it starts read-only, and writing is a switch the client controls. Case 2A: a ticket resolver for an IT helpdesk, where an email becomes a ticket, the agent checks past tickets and the knowledge base, a known fix is answered and resolved on its own, and a problem that needs IT goes to the helpdesk team with what to do. Case 2B: an end-to-end testing assistant that tests a booking app like a customer and reports what broke, with a screenshot and a suggested fix. Case 2C: a documentation assistant that finds what the manual misses, walks through the app and drafts the new section with fresh screenshots for a person to approve. - Voice agents (/voice/): phone agents in English and Croatian that answer every call, take the details, read them back and leave a clean record. Case 3A: a receptionist for a physiotherapy clinic that books the visit, offers the waitlist when the slot is taken and shows the call, its summary and the booking in the clinic's dashboard. Case 3B: a support line for a facilities maintenance company that takes a caretaker's report, reads it back and puts a work order with the transcript on the maintenance board. How we work: a free demo on the prospect's own site, then a pilot for an agreed scope, then the live assistant, whose conversations are read and fixed regularly. The client can end the work after any of the three and owns the data and the off switch. House rules for every build: the assistant says it is an AI; when it is unsure it says so and offers a way to reach the team; prices, delivery dates and policies come from the client's data, and when the data is missing it says so; conversations are read regularly and weak answers fixed; the client owns the data and the off switch; every build comes with its own tests. ## Pages - [Whole site, plain text](/index.txt): the home page and the three direction pages as text. - [Home page](/): what we build, one example per direction (cases 1A, 2A and 3A), How we work, case studies, about and the contact form. - [Chatbots](/chatbots/): how it works, case 1A and the details. - [Custom AI automations](/automations/): how it works, cases 2A, 2B, 2C and the details. - [Voice agents](/voice/): how it works, cases 3A, 3B and the details. - [Privacy notice](/privacy/). - [Legal notice](/legal/): the business behind Fortalan, a Croatian sole proprietorship (obrt). - [How our demos are made](/demo-notice/): how a free demo video is made from a store's public pages, and how to have it deleted. ## Facts - Location: Zagreb, Croatia - Languages: English and Croatian - Reply time: within 2 working days - Demo: a short private video of the assistant on the prospect's own site, free, usually within a few days - Contact: not live yet; the address and the contact form follow when the domain is registered
